How does the recruitment work? The recruitment fully depends upon the company scenario and what techniques the company is using to find the applicants for employment. Our present and future business success not only depends on the skill of the candidates but it also depends on the opportunities that the company offers to the candidates for their career development.

In the current era, companies are mostly using social networking sites like facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc to source their candidates for employment. More often, companies use facebook applications or they create the page on facebook dedicated to careers with the company. Like on LinkedIn, the company or recruiters mostly join the groups of those people concerned with that particular sector. They make the job postings on the social networking sites. Also on Twitter, company tweets job listings and source the candidates for employment.

Many of the organizations prefer to use branding strategy instead of taking help of recruitment firms. The basic difference between the two methods is that the recruitment firm or agency always looks for talent where as the company which uses branding strategy always focuses on filling the particular opening. But sometimes these organizations takes advice from the consultants of the recruiting firms because sometimes they are unsure about the people they have interviewed & want opinion from another person. Because of this reason, companies are getting dependent of the recruiting firms for their job openings. The advantage of using recruiting firm or agency is their ability of knowing from when to find a qualified candidate.

There are some stages in recruitment which includes sourcing candidates from social networking sites, by advertising the jobs and many more methods. Before the recruiter begins the process the recruiter always try to understand the job description and the information associated with it. As soon as the recruiter understands the type of person that the company wants, the recruiters begin their process by informing their network about the opportunity and the job description. Some of the recruiters use special interviewing techniques so as to screen or test the candidate’s skill set. These professional interviewing techniques not only evaluate the candidate’s skill set but it also evaluates that how the particular candidate will fit into the organization.
